1-1-3-1-1- System of play

It is a system of play in four lines and the most common distribution of this system corresponds to that of: 1 goalkeeper, 1 sweeper, 3 defenders, 1 midfielder and 1 forward.

Players’ functions and movements are the following:

·         Sweeper: He must be fast in the cut and have vision of game, in addition, must make coverages to the second defensive line.

·         Full-backs: They must participate both in defensive and in ofensive (wing-backs) tasks.

·         Centre-back: He should make the coverage to the midfielder and must have travel speed of the ball towards the midfielder.

·         Midfielder: He is the one who organizes and distributes the play. He should participate both in defense and in attack. 

·         Forward: He will be asked to start the team’s first defensive action by exerting pressure on the ball and to define attacking plays as well as posible.

Es un sistema de juego en cuatro líneas y la distribución más habitual de este sistema corresponde a la de: 1 portero, 1 defensa libre, 3 defensas, 1 centrocampista y 1 delantero.

Las funciones y movimientos de los jugadores son las siguientes:

·         Defensa libre: Deberá ser rápido en el corte y tener visión de juego, además deberá realizar coberturas a la segunda línea defensiva.

·         Defensas laterales: Que deberán participar tanto en tareas defensivas como ofensivas (carrileros).

·         Defensa central: Deberá realizar la cobertura al centrocampista y tener velocidad de desplazamiento del balón hacia el centrocampista.

·         Centrocampista: El que organiza y distribuye el juego. Debe participar tanto en defensa como en ataque.

·         Delantero: Se le pedirá que inicie la primera acción defensiva del equipo ejerciendo presión sobre el balón y definir lo mejor posible las jugadas de ataque.
